How We Shrink Wrap a Roof
When you opt for a shrink wrap roof, you are choosing to have Allphase Construction & Roofing install a large plastic membrane that is heat-welded to the roof and at its seams. This strong installation is considerably more durable than the alternative option of tarping a roof. The shrink wrap creates a watertight seal that helps prevent costly water damage if your damaged roof is subjected to harsh weather before permanent repairs are completed.
Shrink Wrapping or the Blue Tarp?
When we complete your complimentary roof inspection, we will identify the severity of the damages and help you determine which option is best for your unique situation. Blue tarping is a good option if you plan to begin permanent restoration work very soon (within a few days) and the weather forecast looks manageable over that timeframe. However, much of the time, this is not a good option. If your permanent restoration project will not begin before severe weather arrives, you may want to choose a roof shrink wrap as a stronger protective layer.
